Fiberglass CFF™ (Continuous Filament Fabrication) Spools. Markforged Fiberglass is a continuous fiber designed to reinforce Onyx or Tough Nylon. Parts containing fiberglass give you 5 times the strength of Onyx parts. Use for a wide variety of strong, robust parts.

Extremely thin strands of glass bundled together into a fiber. Fiberglass is traditionally used in composites for boat, automobile, and aircraft manufacture.

Fiberglass has a flexural strength of 210 MPa (30.5 ksi) and a tensile strength of 590 MPa (85.5 ksi).

Application Spotlight

This steel housing needed to be firmly clamped into place for machining, but its irregular shape proved difficult to clamp. A 3D printed fiberglass-reinforced jaw provided a custom geometry that was strong enough to withstand clamping forces without marring the part.
